In Argentina the solitary leaf cutting bees have been building their nests from plastic.The plastic was cut into circular and oblong shapes just like they would have cut leaves to fit their nests.While on the one hand this is an example of a species adapting to their environment on the other hand it is worrying .It is an example of the use of materials that end up in places they are not intended to be. With education and cooperation this bee friend can thrive without needing to adapt.
