For thousands of years humans and animals have lived side by side sharing same space. A Small Pratincole is seen resting on bund at the edge of the field, while a farmer is tilling his land for his next harvest. Every year during beginning of harvesting season Small Pranticole flock along with many other bird species visit these fields to make the most of small window of opportunity to feed on insects and flies (helping farmers). A relationship and balance which has existed for many years.
