I took this photograph while observing a brown bear hunting for salmon on Chichagof Island, Alaska. We were in bear territory. Water levels and salmon runs were low this year. This trip underscored our responsibility to steward this planet. We can design and implement practices that enable the planet to achieve and maintain equilibrium.
