Fragile Glaciers - Wedgemount Lake
Wedgemount lake is a turquoise-coloured alpine lake in British Columbia, Canada and formed by melting glaciers.
Glaciers dug basins for most of the world’s lakes and carved much of the Earth’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Glaciers provide people with many useful resources such as freshwater. But those beautiful and fragile glaciers are melting at an alarming speed due to global warming.
