Wading through waste
Migratory birds passing through the East Asian Australasian Flyway don't really have a choice but to wade through all the trash that welcome them in the coasts of Manila, just to find something to eat. There is something naturally wrong in looking at these magnificently white Little Egrets scavenging through thick layers of plastic waste. Now more than ever, there is a sense of urgency in realising how our daily activities tip the scales of balance and affect the planet.
