    Edit Photo Details Água Izé
The Roça Água Izé was once one of the biggest colonial farms of São Tomé and Príncipe. Well-known in the former portuguese empire due to her hospital, with its atypical staircase leading to the main entrance, the building was invaded by the workers when the country declared its independence in 1975. Today, the building, still occupied, is slowly falling to pieces but is still impressive despite its degradation.
