I came to Iceland four years ago. The first thing which impressed me in Iceland were the rivers which are freely meandering through the countryside. This is something we totally lost in many parts of the world. George Monbiot once said 'For more beauty rewild the world', and that's what wish for all the rivers which already lost it because I can't imagine this river beeing more beautiful that with its own freedom to meander down towards the ocean.
