Living in cities it's easy to forget the beauty of our planet. We see cool landscapes while driving or flying. But the best way to really see the beauty earth is to travel deep into it. Areas which are untouched by infrastructure and development, areas difficult to reach, but the effort to reach them is worth the reward. I hiked 4 miles through a river for this shot. It's a reminder of another side to our planet, rarely seen and sometimes forgotten in our daily lives, which needs to be protected
