Looked outside just before sunset last night and saw this beautiful great-horned owl perched on the side of our pool! I crept outside to try and get a photo before he flew off--he did fly--to the top of our roof! I walked further into the back yard to get another photo of him on the roof, and that's when I saw a second owl also perched on the roof! One of the perks of desert living.
