In Olympic National Park, early summer time offers a great opportunity for not only wildflower viewing but also wildlife spotting. I was so lucky to see a lovely dear resting in a meadow when I drove on a dirt road near the Hurricane Ridge area. The dark background makes the dear stand out quite well.
