This picture was taken at Dasaswamedh Ghat in Varanasi, India. There are five priests who perform the "Arati" - the ritual of worshipping the river Ganga, twicw a day. This was the evening Arati during the festival of Dev Deepavali. Hundreds of devotees throng Varanasi during Dev Deepavali. I was just mesmersied by the way the Ararti is performed. This priest in particular became my muse. I just could not take my eyes away from him.
