Early morning we took a boat ride to the sand dunes from Thalai Mannar. Altogether there are 8 sand dunes between South India and North west Sri Lanka. Thousands of sea gulls waited in line and took off together which was a breathtaking sight. Sand dunes are not inhabited by people and is unspoit.
