I wanted to capture the beautiful colors and cloud patterns in the sky, along with side-lighting from the sunset. I waited to include the incoming cable car to provide a more dynamic feel and a sense of place of Rio de Janeiro and its surroundings. I used a graduated 3-stop ND filter.
