Edit Photo Details Honey Ants interacting in my back yard.   #ants #macro
Macro of my back yard Honey Ants. Their body is a living storage and when their abdomen swells, (pleregate), they can be a tasty sweet snack. Trust me. These two seem to be cleaning sweet stuff off of each other. The one with bigger abdomen has more nectar that it collected.
