A solo pine tree stands guard on the fringe of the Jockey's Ridge State Park in North Caroliona's Outer Banks. I should have shot this from a different angle so one could see the seemingly endless rolling landscape. At 426 acres its the biggest and tallest sand dune on the east coast.
