    Crossing seaward from Wainui Road to the wharf, the old railway bridge is out of use nowadays. But the children use it to jump into the green water, sometimes fresh, sometimes salty, depending on the tide. Walking across it, when this youngster climbed back up, while another floated as if lifeless.
