    After weeks of rain and grey weather I found this little mushroom on a log in the botanical gardens. I love the miniature world that moss and fungi provide, it acts as a reminder to slow down, look closer, otherwise risk missing the beauty on show. I think this is a Russula persanguinea mushroom.
