In China, school pressure begins at an early age. After completing elementary school they must take exams in order to be placed into middle schools. After middle school school they must take exams to be placed into high school. After high school they must score high on exams to get into college. That's probably why kids in China study everywhere, anywhere and all the time. It's debatable as to whether the children can learn much this way but they sure know how to take a good test.
