    My friends and I visited Niaoyu ("Bird Island"), a small inhabited island in Taiwan's Penghu archipelago. Near the fishing harbor I snapped this shot of a recent haul sun-drying in front of the island's impressive temple to the Daoist Earth God, Tudigong.
