Shot in a suburban front yard. A high speed setting of 1/3200 and ISO of 1600, which risks some noise, was needed to freeze this little female in mid-flight. (Males have longer streamers than females.) Nikkor 70-200mm on a D600 with 2x extender, wound out fully, to yield 400mm equivalent.
