While in Denali Park for Road Lottery weekend*, we came upon a grizzly bear sow who was busy dining on abundant berries. As the crowd of onlookers grew, she would stand up and look around after grazing for a few minutes. What a beauty! *Road Lottery Weekend, is one weekend a year when you are permitted to drive your personal vehicle all the way into the park. You apply for the permit by lottery and only 400 are chosen to enter the park each day.
