Omega in Sagittarius
The Omega Nebula in the constellation Sagittarius is 6,000 light-years distant and spans a diameter of 15 light-years. Like the great nebula in Orion the Omega nebula is a star forming region with an embedded open cluster of young stars. Taken from the backyard using narrowband Halpha and Oiii.
