Winds of time
Springtime wind-blown sands cover the rocky shoreline at Point Reyes National Seashore. Each winter, powerful North Pacific swells remove the sand deposits that cover the rocks until spring arrives. This subtle, natural cycle is yet another example of the cyclical nature of our world - storm systems, tides, seasons, waxing and waning moons, life, death, and recycled energy - continuing ahead beyond the horizon of what we deem conceivable.
