Jungle Man
Head into a remote jungle of Sumatra, 10 hours drive from Indonesia's third largest city. I find myself hiking for 5 hours into a rainforest, I can hear trees being cut down and human life echoing in the background. I encounter a man wearing an alligator necklace fastened around his neck by a chain of deer bones - he embodies the very meaning of a ‘jungle man’. Ipu, the jungle man, is carrying a green tree snake that he has rescued from the devastating effects of deforestation.
