The Aurora Borealis streaks vividly across the sky over Kirkjufellfoss on Iceland's stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula on a crisp September night. The opportunity to see, and photography, the Aurora is an incredible and exhilarating feeling that left me in absolute awe at the forces of nature lighting up the sky above my head. The only clear night on my trip, I left my B&B at 11pm and drove over 270km around the peninsula, shooting the Aurora until 6am. This 15 second long exposure is my favorite.
