    The U-shaped valley between the Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain is the home of Tyndall Glacier—an ice and a rock glacier. It is one of the remaining five active glaciers in Rocky Mountain National Park. However, this summer it was more of a rock glacier with hardly any ice to be found.
