On a recent visit to the beautiful town of Hoi An, Vietnam, I was taken by the amount of plastic bottles and other packaging material that ends up in the garbage and more often also into the waterways. This scene was captured on the Hoi An River waterfront showing masses of empty plastic drinking bottles that have been collected and are being transported to a local collection depot. I have desaturated all colours in the image except the blue colour of the bottles to draw the viewer's eyes in.
