Saw a thin plume of black smoke ahead while driving up I-5. It must have just happened because traffic was unaffected and emergency crews hadn't shown up yet. Thankfully a couple other cars stopped to help. It looked like everyone was already out of the vehicle and they appeared to be pretty calm. I guess at that point you just resign to the fact that your ride is melting. Crazy.
