While photographing the sunrise I saw a surfer down the beach stretching. I watched him for awhile and he was unaware that I watched. After stretching, he just stood there assessing the surf and enjoying the view. I snapped this shot with a rather long exposure but he stood so still he stayed in focus. Turned out to be one of my favorite shots of the trip to Charleston, S.C.
