Few years back, the Karnataka Forest department closed down the National Highway cutting right through the core area of the Nagarahole National Park, a Project Tiger reserve. Today, the forests are slowly taking over the road and hopefully in a few years, a forest tract is all that will be left of this highway. This is an image of a beautiful tigress on that very highway.
