The morning we were leaving the Masai Mara the spectacular cheetah family of Mom and five cubs we had seen the afternoon before put in another appearance. They were all damp from rain and wet grass. They romped and played, chasing each other all around our two safari vehicles and one of another group - a shiny green SUV that attracted this cat up onto its hood. The cheetah stared in through the windshield, chewed on the license plate a little and eventually hopped off.
