I was contracted to assist filming the first ever life in color tour festival in Washington DC. When I got to the festival grounds it looked grim. Soon after the constant down pour started and I knew this was going to be a miserable 12 hours. To my surprise as the night went on more and more people kept coming. Once we hit 15,000 some people Nicky was up to perform. Close to the end of his set he had the whole crowd giving him all there energy. And then I saw it.
