Now in the village where I stayed with the NGO's founder and her family for Dashain Festival in October 2012, where no Westerner had ever experienced Dashain, in a village called Butabari in Eastern Nepal. I had the most memorable experience and this woman had come from 3 villages away to have her picture taken, posing with her serious face, I chose this picture which was her natural humour that glistened onto all of us. She wore traditional tribal jewellery as many of the elderly did.
