I took this photo at the local zoo where people merely visit. In a cage was this lonely, malnourished Emu. As soon as she saw me coming, she got up. I knew that people don't often go near her. I tried taking a portrait of her and to my surprise she stood still and stared at the camera like she has been doing professional modelling. She smiled at the camera. Every time I visit the Zoo I always go see her and she always gives me the smile which makes the time worthwhile.
