Girl in a Wetsuit is located north of Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. Some say the bronze statue by Elek Imredy replicates that of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, but the artist said the life sized statue represents the popularity of scuba diving in the area. The rock the statue sits on "rises out of the water" as the tide rolls out and sinks into the water as the tide rolls in.
