On my Northern Lights trip to Iceland, I had the opportunity to travel to this manmade lagoon that was covered in beautiful blue ice. I was inspired by the rich black sand, clear blue skies and life size chunks of glacial ice. As I sat on the volcanic sand my entire body was swallowed up by the ice and it called to me in this photo.
