Late one February afternoon, high winds over the summit of Loveland Pass create blizzard conditions. For a brief moment, the sun peaks through the haze to illuminate the alpine tundra. Notice the brave snowboarders ascending the mountainside. They add an additional element to the foreground and give perspective to the scene.
