Just wait, Mount Washington
As a photographer, change can be your friend, or not. Driving toward Sisters, Oregon, from the Hoodoo ski area, Mount Washington stood out prominently on the horizon, terminating a vast prospect of frozen forest. I pulled over and looked for a vantage point to take a couple shots. In the course of about 45 seconds, the mountain was engulfed in clouds. Within 10 seconds of taking this shot, the mountain had vanished, not to reappear in the next hour.
