Berlin Reichstag Dome
The glazed dome of the Reichstag building, designed by Sir Norman Foster.
The cone takes stale warm air from the Bundestag debating chamber below and via a heat exchanger transfer the heat to the building management system. The mirrors on the cone move to reflect the sun during the day and thus prevent overheating.
In our changing world even technology can look this good.
