I like to find the remaining natural areas of the city where I was born and raised. On one of my adventures I found myself surrounded not only by the trees which were standing and living on that day, but also by the trees and plants which had fallen or died in previous years. This photo is a tribute to the continuum of life and the constant state of living, where something else once thrived.
