My Photography teacher in University organized a trip to visit the Xochimilco Ecological Reserve and the famous creepy "chinampa" known as "La Isla De Las Muñecas" (The Island Of The Dolls). We were a group of 18 people traveling trough the canals in a tiny motor boat. This island is famous for the story of a man called Julian that started collecting the dolls to scare away the spirit of a drowned girl found close by. He eventually died as well and they found his body floating in the water.
