    Plunging into the Lemaire Channel, we could barely see 100 meters ahead, as everything was obscured by swirling snow. Towering peaks of snowy mountains would suddenly appear on either side of us, escorting us onward, into the unknown. I stood at the front of the ship, with the wind tearing at my face, and my hands holding the camera in fingerless gloves feeling like they were going to fall off. But there was no way, I would go inside, and give up a view like that.
