    I love the zoo because I love animals and I love learning about them. I understand their purpose in conservation, but sometimes I wonder if keeping some animals caged like this is cruel. Looking into these eyes, I felt like I knew what he was thinking, the despair at his situation, his wanting to be free and tired of being oogled and heckled and photographed all day, everyday. Just because there's a language barrier doesn't mean they aren't capable of complex thoughts and emotions.
