Edit Photo Details Grizzled Bison at Yellowstone Nat. Park   #yellowstone #bison #buffalo
I got stuck in a line of cars at Yellowstone as this seemingly old American bison, or buffalo, slowly plodded down the opposite lane of a narrow road north of Yellowstone Lake. Mating season had just begun and this male seems past his prime. The animal was oblivious to those of us in our cars gawking and taking photos. It had a sad face and seemed to be deep within its own thoughts. I had to use a wide-angle lens to get the photo as the beast was so close to me.
