The life line of a women
(Life)line of myself, my way, my body, my identity.
It shows how far I have come with my own business as a allround photographer. This was shot in my last year of 4 years of education and made this picture for my photography exams in 2012.
It's a "selfportrait". (*edit* thank you for pointing me out Kholood Eid, this sounds so much bette then 'selfie'! With more 'respect' for the image I made of myself) Looking back, I think I can be proud of myself!
I love the subtlety of this image. The outline of your body makes me think of a horizon out in deep space (take that as you wish). By incorporating a more abstract approach to the female body, you're engaging viewers in a different experience than we may be used to. Sorry to be critical of your use of language, but I certainly wouldn't refer to this as a "selfie"—there's far too much thought for such a label. Instead, I'd call is a self-portrait—and a beautiful one at that.
