    Edit Photo Details A traditional ceremony in Kenya   #culture #kenya #ceremony #traditional
This photo was taken during a traditional ceremony in the Meru community in Kenya. It is known as "Dressing my father" where the daughter comes back home to thank her father for all he has done for her. It is a thanksgiving ceremony. In this particular picture, 3 women of same build (including the daughter) are part of a procession walking back to her family home. It is customary for the father to then try and identify his daughter amongst the three women. HE MUST PICK THE RIGHT ONE! ;)
