We decided to go to Amicalola Falls earlier this week. Always looking for something to photograph, I saw a rusty car door just a bit higher than my height on the edge of the trail. About 60 feet higher up was this old truck, which had been lifted by the tree where the driver's side front is embedded into the tree. Later, an older man who had grown up in this locale told us there are lots of these accidents that had never been retrieved.
