While studying Spanish in Valencia I was invited to a Paella Festival just outside of Valencia. It was such an interesting day, not only did I learn how to make paella, but was surprised to learn that every family has it's very own (secret) recipe, of course claiming it was the best one. While walking around and spying on the hundreds of Paellas pans cooking, I was overwhelmed by the mouth-watering smell that was fuming from these food masterpieces.
