Cuy: it's actually delicious
Cuy (aka, guinea pig) is a delicacy in Peru and in fact, throughout the Andes. It's a traditional food often prepared for birthdays and other family celebrations. We've had it roasted and deep fried, as shown in this photo. It's served whole and each person in the family usually has his/her favorite part (crunchy ears, yummy).
