On Sunday Nov. 3rd, the Sun was missing a bite at sunrise. I traveled all the way to Cape Hatteras to capture this eclipse while the sun was rising over the Atlantic ocean. In the foreground, the badly damaged Frisco fishing pier (Hurricane Earl in Sept 2010) gives a post-apocalyptic atmosphere to the scene.
